Nico Cappelluti is an associate professor at the Physics Department of the University of Miami. Obtained his Ph.D at TUM-Munich/MPE in 2007 and his main research interest is in the field of X-ray SMBH surveys. Recently he began exploring Primordial Black Holes as a possible mechanism to produce SMBH seeds.

Primordial Black Holes and the JWST Universe

Primordial Black Holes (PBHs) have recently attracted renewed interest, spurred by the discovery of gravitational waves and the detection of over-massive supermassive black holes (SMBHs) and galaxies in the pre-reionization epoch. In this talk, I will explore the implications of the PBH-ΛCDM cosmology and its significance for interpreting results from the James Webb Space Telescope.
